I wasnt going to enter, my track record for these deviantart contest is nothing to brag about. (0/25). But a very good friend :iconashleyrd: of mine recently gave me a bunch of her old art supplies, and i just had to use them!!

And besides, getting the opportunity to have the one and only Tim Burton see your work is an opportunity that i did not want to pass up!!! I just love that man!!

this was my first time ever drawing johnny depp, and i must say. . .the guy has a great face!!! perfect features for drawing :D

Ah, if only the movie had more darkness in it, like the representation of Barnabas you have presented here... This is a stunning piece; it just haunts the eye. It speaks to the heart and soul of Barnabas Collins with such poetic depth. Thank you for the information about your materials; I find them as fascinating as the portrait. A+++

it doesn't look like Johnny Depp, HOWEVER It really represents a Barnabas Collins. I really LOVE LOVE LOVE this because it shows true art. I'm not hating on digital art, but it seems that preference is given to people who enhance their art digitally or make art digitally. SMH.
