like i said before, I though that the story of the Avox girl and boy was so tragic, yet a Capitol part of Katniss' character. So i was really surprised when they completley cut it out of the movie. The have a chance to fix it in "Catching Fire", but i doubt they will!
This was one of the only things that made me like Katniss ( her guilt. I know. i'm terrible.) Who i felt ( AT TIMES) was normally rude and harsh.
Lavinia was described as having dark red hair, striking features, and porcelain white skin. Being an Avox, her tongue was cut out and she is therefore mute. Katniss said that Lavina had a "Capitol" look to her.
so here is my version! Colored! I hope you like her

Check out my new icon! I joined the Hunger Games Icon Family Thingee as Lavinia, and check it out! I couldn't decide between her, Octavia, Flavia, Venia, and Mrs. Everdeen. So I let TridentFreak choose.
This is beautiful. And I hated katniss for most of the books. She was always rude indecisive and just oblivious to the peoples feelings around her. Lol. She had very little redeeming qualities other than her guilt like u said, her relationship with Rue and her sister.
But. Back to your photo. While stunning its not exactly what I imagined. But that's the beauty of seeing your interpretation of the character versus what I envisioned.
Oh okay. I love that one, I need to read it again. Of course, I love all of them... I don't have a favorite character, but people seem to think it's Finnick. It's not, what about Annie, and Gale, and Prim, and Mrs. Everdeen, and Buttercup, and Johanna and.... I'm high on sugar.
That really was a sad story They cut out a bunch of stuff in the movie that seemed really important. They could have done a MUCH MUCH better job on the entire thing. But anyways, your drawing is lovely, all of them are
